Quixpin

Hello
I have purchased the Quixpin today, and noticed that it creates duplicates in "Imported Tracks" folder when I play a song from iTunes library.
Is there a way to avoid this, so that I would not end up with thousands of duplicated files in time : )

I love the app but I can't get it to play more than a minute before I get this error:

"a peak file write error was encountered"

What is going on?

 New here! Love the look of the app. As a 29 year professional I'm a successful old school wedding and corporate entertainer and like the way the app works. But......It won't play most songs from my library. A few play but most pop up not supported. Most of my music is from itunes. Any help? Thanks. Looking forward to using the app on an ipad as a back up.

 Quixpin DJ crashes every time I try to load 2 mp3's of about 20 mins each. It loads the first one ok then crashes when I try to load the second one. I noticed someone posted something about crashing and you had a couple of questions to be answered... I have attached and answered them here just in case.

Good morning I wanted to thank you for the vs. cleverness and for the new release 1.9.
Now that we can access the library of ITunes I wanted to know if you would have implemented the possibility to analyze the tracks before loading them in the deck so that not to have to attend a lot of time for the analysis when them load.

Hi. Well done on this app but I am having trouble. I am connected to wi fi but when I tap fttp server in options I menu I get the connect to ip ect ect and stop server message in same message and nothing else happens. So I tap start and can only stop. Nothing else is possible. War am I doin wrong. I am on iPhone 3gs 16gb . Pls help as I can't do anything but play default tracks cheers

I Can`t Update my old Software over Itunes.
Itunes tell me i must buy the app again.
And here is my quetion: WHY ?

I used FileZilla to create three folders in Quixpin, and placed music for 3 different events in each folder.
No problem accessing these files in Quixpin, and no problem deleting the files via FileZilla after the events.
However, I cannot seem to delete the folders themselves.  FileZilla reports the following error:
Command: RMD The Play
Response: 500 'RMD': command not understood.
How do I delete folders from Quixpin?

The first thing is you need to somehow get the crossfader and the start/stop of the decks together so you can do a straight slam mix from one song to another (a radio style mix for new DJ's and non mixing DJ's).
For the beat mixing DJ's the best way is to have a 4/8/16 bar loop so you can get the mix at the right tempo then stop the looping as you bring in the mix.
I don't know about the rest of you but I find the knobs impossible.  I would rather have sliders.

Cannot connect at all using FTP.  I do have the correct IP and the correct port (21000) and have left the pop up on.
This is the error:
Can't establish connection --> http://192.168.0.155:21000 @ Thu Apr 22 10:02:52 2010   (11001-100)
No such host is known. 
 
I am able to connect via web server, but I don't think you can delete files using the web server nor can you download your mix with web server.
