my quixpin keeps crashing
Hello,
I have the problem that quixpin will crash out after about 10 mins of use.
Currently on an iphone 3g and i have turned off all the extras, airplane mode on,
wifi off, push email off etc.
Does anybody else experience these problems?
A couple of improvements i would like to see:
** the tempo faders are the wrong way round, increasing speed should be at the bottom (+) and decreasing at the top (-)
also please make the fine adjustment buttons bigger/more accesible as they are critical components.
**The ability to loop would be nice if it doesnt use too much resources
**the ability to finger swipe navigate (like photo album) between deck a, mixer and deck b
** personally i would get rid of the waveforms, for me they are useless and a waste of screen real estate and much needed resources. maybe add a vu meter and gain knob instead of this, would be much more functional.
Appart from that (and the crashing) i think you have done a great job with it, congratulations. Keep up the good work!
Dan the man.
I was reading that a few folk would like BPM counters and im guessing that this would be a bit resource heavy for a mobile device.
SO;
You could add a bpm tapping button which would take the average beats you tap over a time and display a BPM value.
This system is already used in a program called beats and it is extremely accurate (also very fun to do) .
Perhaps you could have an adittional screen to the left of A and another one to the right of B with the Tempo tapper button?
Please let me know what you think,
Dan the man
Thanks for your note. We don't get many reports about the app crashing so we have a few questions:
Thanks. We've made some improvements to our audio engine recently, so keep an eye out for an update soon.
