Hi Solfree,
Hopefully some of these questions will help troubleshoot your problem:

  • When you press "Start FTP Server" within the app, what IP address are you given?
  • What is the IP address of your computer?
  • Does the FileZilla client give you any error messages?
  • Does it look like FileZilla connects, but just doesn't log in? (the server would ask for user name and password and FileZilla would try to respond)
  • Does it look like FileZilla connects, logs in, but just doesn't get a directory listing
  • A very basic questions here: Are you sure you are putting in the port (21000) correctly
  • Do you have any firewalls on your computer that might be preventing FileZilla from receiving a connection or making a connection (FileZilla will typically have to do both)
  • Another very basic question: If you close the little popup window, it will stop the FTP server. Are you sure you are not doing that?

Let us know. Thanks!

Thank you for the reply.
I finally got the FTP connection to work. But the next problem is with the mp2 converter that you have a link to. I cant find anywhere in the program the menu "Tracks" that you have listed in your directions in the following way: "go to Tracks and select "stereo to mono".
Also the only export options I'm given are: export to wma or export to mp3 or ogg vorbis.
I downloaded their newest version they had available.
If you can help I'd appreciate it very much thanks...

I forgot to mention another thing. I converted my mp3 music files to mp2 using another software and then loaded them to quixpin. When I try to load the mp2 files to start mixingi get an error saying format not supported. Please help.

Hi Solfree,

Good to hear that you've gotten the FTP problems figured out. Now let's try to figure out the MP2 issues. We will check on the Audacity site to see if the latest one has the proper features. The version that we were using was v1.3.x, which was still in beta at the time, but in our opinion, fully functional. What was the other software package that you used to transcode the files to mp2? We will test that out as well. It's possible that the files are not getting encoded as mono, which would cause an issue.
